Klaatu Records proudly presents the world premiere release to the cult-classic thriller "HELLO MARY LOU: PROM NIGHT II", a follow up to the hit 1980 slasher, "PROM NIGHT" starring Oscar Winner Jaime Lee Curtis (HALLOWEEN, EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, ALL AT ONCE) and Leslie Nielsen (AIRPLANE!, THE NAKED GUN TRILOGY).

Much like the 1980 film, "HELLO MARY LOU: PROM NIGHT II" follows a tragedy this time, it's 1957 in which the promiscious Mary Lou Maloney is burnt alive accidently by her boyfriend Bill Nordham (Michael Ironside, Total Recall, Visiting Hours) and her lover, Cooper during her ceremony as Prom Queen of Hamilton High. Swearing revenge from beyond the grave, Mary Lou's vengeful spirit has chosen someone to posses and that is the young, and innocent Vicki Carpenter (Wendy Lyon, Hidden Agenda), who goes to school at Hamilton High where Nordham is now the Principal and dating her son, Craig. Haunted by dreams, possessed wooden rocking horses and changes to her demeanor, Vicki is been taken over by Mary Lou and become the human vessel to inflict revenge on Nordham and Cooper, who is now a priest; as well as anyone who gets in her way to becoming Prom Queen through Vicki's body once again.

The film's terrifying score by renowned Canadian Composer Paul Zaza (PROM NIGHT, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, TURK 182!, STAG) ratches up the suspense and thrills of the film as well as in keeping the tradition of his original score from the 1980 film. Filled with dark ambiance, Zaza gives the film a renowed musical power that makes for an exciting listen on its own in this long overdue CD release limited to 300 copies.
